OLIVE OIL

St. Vitus

The harsh winters give a certain specificity to the oil produced in the Bukovac olive groves. High concentrations of various polyphenolic compounds that influence the bitterness and spiciness preferred by connoisseurs of extra virgin olive oil.

By mixing several varieties of olives: Istrian bjelica 30%, oblica 30%, krvavica 30%, drobnica and leccino 10%. we produce the top quality extra virgin olive oil “St. Vitus” – “Morsus hiemis oleum bonum dat.”

DOTA

Several of our family olive groves are also located in Ravni kotari, the most fertile part of the Dalmatian coast.

In the villages of Bulić and Lišani Ostrovički, we cultivate olive groves that have been passed down through the female line of the family for the fourth generation. These are old olive groves of the indigenous krvavica variety. This is a medium-sized variety with heart-shaped fruit that produces a mild oil with a more delicate taste, extremely well-received by fans of extra virgin olive oil who prefer mild oils with less pronounced spiciness. We offer: Extra virgin olive oil “Dota”.

Mild and gentle oil – as only a mother’s love can be; “Amor matris”.
